Watching them, calms me down.
The Opae Ula Shrimp are the easiest pets to have. They usually come in a biosphere and everything is self contained. And you don’t need a microscope to watch them (like the tardigrade or brine shrimp/aka sea monkeys).
Ours have babies all the time, like bunnies and hamsters.

We created a 15–20 gallon Opae Ula Oasis. It’s self contained; they feed off of the moss, the moss feeds off the waste, and the circle of life baby.
